Working under eminent historian Prof. Jay Winter (Yale University) on a research and publication project, ‘The Degeneration of War in the twentieth century and after’.My responsibilities involve: 1. Gathering primary and secondary literatures on wars and its forms within 20th century and beyond for the project.2. Working with archival materials to the specific events of war, genocide and other organised crimes related to the project.3. Critical analysis and review of literature of scholars working in this area or aligning.4. Tracking the day-to-day events regarding the Russian war in Ukraine and Israel-Hamas war and crisis in Gaza, and investigating the evolving nature of war.5. Making a timeline of events and doing comparative analysis of 20th century wars and atrocities with that of modern day.6. Keeping a track of research and other organising work for this book project.7. Working jointly on a co-author publication (TBA soon).
