ABOUT SOUMAJIT GHOSH

I’m Soumajit Ghosh, a PhD researcher in Biotechnology at GITAM University, dedicated to pioneering sustainable biotechnological solutions. With a Master\'s in Biotechnology and a Bachelor\'s in Biochemistry, my academic journey is enriched by qualifying exams like CSIR-NET (2024), GATE Biotechnology (2022), and GAT-B (2022), which have deepened my expertise and commitment to impactful research. My focus areas include biostimulants derived from macroalgae and innovative bioremediation strategies aimed at addressing environmental and agricultural challenges.My hands-on work in laboratory environments has further expanded during my Master\'s research project, where I explored the biodegradation potential of Thraustochytrid strains for detoxifying synthetic dyes, providing valuable insights into bioremediation applications.Looking ahead, my goal is to contribute to sustainable biotechnology by developing biostimulants and eco-friendly solutions to environmental concerns. I’m eager to connect with professionals and researchers passionate about biotechnology and sustainability, as I believe that meaningful collaborations can drive the advancements needed to make a real-world impact.Outside the lab, I enjoy thriller novels, origami, photography, and exploring new places.
