About Soumadeep Dey
I am a Computer Science undergraduate with a strong focus on backend development, particularly within the Java ecosystem. I am passionate about designing and building efficient, scalable applications while continuously strengthening my problem-solving abilities through practical, hands-on implementation.I follow a project-driven learning approach and have experience working with Java, JDBC, Maven, Hibernate, Jakarta Servlets, Spring Boot, Spring Web MVC, and Spring Data JPA, along with PostgreSQL for database management. I have built dynamic web applications using JSP and Thymeleaf and integrated REST APIs with a React frontend, enabling me to understand full-stack architecture and client–server communication. Currently, I am further deepening my expertise in the Spring Framework and RESTful APIs to design production-ready backend systems.Alongside development, I consistently practice Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to sharpen my analytical thinking and write clean, optimized, production-quality code. I actively participate in coding contests to enhance my problem-solving skills, adaptability, and performance in time-constrained environments.Driven by curiosity and continuous improvement, I am always eager to collaborate, learn from real-world engineering challenges, and contribute to impactful software development initiatives while continuing to grow as a backend engineer.
