ABOUT SOUKHIN CHAKRABORTY

Chemical Engineer | Process Modeling & Simulation | Data Analysis | Strategy I am a passionate chemical engineer with a solid academic foundation, holding an M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a B.Tech from VSSUT, Burla. My experience spans across process modeling, simulation, and data analysis, with a strong focus on sustainability and green energy solutions. At IIOT Innovation, I model and simulate CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) and green hydrogen systems, ensuring they are both process-efficient and financially viable. I have played a pivotal role in designing and validating PFDs and P & IDs for projects, including a photobioreactor pilot plant at APL Mundra, aimed at converting waste flue gas into valuable end products in collaboration with CSIR (CSMCRI). During my tenure at I-PAC, I managed teams, conducted voter sentiment analysis, and devised successful campaign strategies for the 2023 WB PRI elections. I also led research projects focused on the political inclinations of specific communities, driving strategic candidate positioning for the 2024 general elections. My technical skills include programming languages like SQL, Python, and C++, as well as experience with software tools such as Tableau, ASPEN Hysys, and COMSOL Multiphysics. Additionally, I am skilled in stakeholder management, gap analysis, and business statistics. With a strong background in both engineering and data-driven strategy, I am committed to contributing to projects that drive innovation and sustainability.
