As a Power BI developer in the COE - Reporting team of FP & A for the Logistics and Services business of Maersk, I am responsible for translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for key business leaders. My core responsibilities include-Business Intelligence & Development: Develop, deploy, and maintain dynamic and scalable Power BI dashboards for global, regional, and product-specific financial analysis, directly supporting senior finance stakeholders. Data Transformation & Modeling: Engineer and optimize data workflows using Power Query and Dataflows to ensure data integrity. Design and implement complex data models in Power BI to support advanced analytics. DAX & Advanced Analytics: Author complex DAX measures and functions to calculate critical KPIs, perform time-intelligence analysis, and create calculation groups using Tabular Editor to enhance report functionality. Report Ownership & Maintenance: Own a portfolio of key financial reports, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from requirement gathering and development to ongoing enhancements and maintenance. Technical Proficiency & Optimization: Utilize DAX Studio for performance tuning and validating complex DAX logic, ensuring reports are both accurate and efficient. Project Management & Collaboration: Employ Jira for agile project management to track development sprints and deliverables.
