About Souhardya Banerjee
I am currently working as the category head & PnL owner for IOT devices (Smartwatches, Smart Bands, smart glasses, rings, Trackers and other wearables) at Flipkart. Previously, I have worked in the Flipkart Minutes team (quick commerce channel) heading Business Development and Brand Partnerships for Hardlines (Mobiles, Electronics and Appliances). Prior to this role, I was heading monetization (Ads) business for Mobiles and Electronics brands. Delivered revenue of USD million in CY24 by effectively managing a team of 12+ members. Earlier I was associated with Whirlpool of India Limited, one of India\'s best known home appliances brand, for 6 years. Spearheaded Whirlpool business of Haryana, delivering annual revenue of around USD XX million, in my last role there. I hold a PGDM Marketing degree from IMT Ghaziabad. I have interned with Abbott India Consumer Care Division working on secondary sales for Digene, India\'s largest selling antacid, during my post-graduation. Previous experience include serving as Test Lead in a client facing role at IBM.Key Achievements• Winner of Mission Impossible Award at Flipkart in Dec 2023.• Winner of W Star Award (Global Award of Whirlpool Corporation).• Chosen as Best Young Leader 2016 among all Management Trainees across different functions at Whirlpool of India Ltd.• Winner of IBM Spark Award in November 2013 which is given to top performers in the organization.• Winner of Merit Scholarship from IMT Ghaziabad.• Secured position in top 1 percentile in class in both post-graduation and graduation.
