I’m Chair (Professor) in Machine Learning and Computer Vision at the University of Edinburgh and Director of the CHAI Hub (Causal AI).In a personal and independent capacity, I provide high-level technical advisory and structured briefings on AI systems and claims, including:• AI feasibility studies & algorithmic audit• Technical due diligence (Tech DD) and investment briefings for early-stage decision-makers• Expert witness and IP litigation support in AI/ML/CVMy focus is on AI capabilities, limitations, trade-offs, research risk, and evidence quality.I also hold an external role with the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).
