ABOUT SOTIRIOS ANDROULAKIS
I love designing F1 cars and aerodynamic concepts. I strive for aerodynamic designs that combine the latest theoretical advances with very detailed applied aerodynamics. I hold an M.Sc. in Race Car Aerodynamics with distinction and an M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. My work focuses on implementing advanced aerodynamics designs under a very strict ruleset, that will enhance efficiently F1 car performance. Also, I am involved in all steps of concept design, from the first sketch to the release at manufacturing, including NX design, CFD simulation, and wind tunnel experiments. I am currently an Aerodynamicist at Williams Racing. In 2017 I joined University of Southampton as M.Sc. candidate and later as research assistant to work on high-performance aerodynamics, topic on which I continue to work now in Williams Racing.
