About Sosa Edison-Edebor

I gravitate towards problems. Something about looking at a problem from many perspectives and coming up with solutions excites me. Especially when I get to do that with other people. However I wasn\'t always solving problems with code.In my family, I was the problem solver. When the wifi stopped working, my mom would pop her head into my room with a look that meant,\"I need you to come solve a Sosa problem\". I knew what she meant immediately. From routers, to printers, to garage door openers, to malfunctioning computers and email servers, I solved problems. Eventually I learned how to build video games in high school using C# and Unity. While the design portion of building videos games bored me, coding up player actions and environment reactions lit a fire underneath me. Backend development was my calling.I haven\'t built a video game in a while, but I do play them in my free time (and quietly wonder how they\'re built). What I do build nowadays are web applications using Python, React and Relational databases. I am a Test Driven Development (TDD), Domain Driven Development and Model View Controller (MVC) fanatic when it comes to how I build and organize code. So far I have Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React, React Native, Express, Docker, Docker compose and Git/Github under my belt. I\'m working towards mastery of Python (Flask/Django), SQL and deploying my solutions to the web using GCP and AWS. New technologies excite me too, like FastAPI and Next.js.
