About Soren Duggan
Soren Duggan is a graduate research fellow at Harvard University. He focuses on the shared American national identity, American patriotism, and political media. Soren previously served for nine years in the United States Army, operating in multifaceted intelligence collection roles for U.S. Special Operations while tasked with developing relationships and networks with foreign allies. At Harvard, Soren researches how the American national identity has changed over time, as well as how the modern political media and information ecosystem affect citizens’ connections to the state and to one another.
