About Soren Christensen
As a former international educator and education consultant, I feel that transitioning to a Customer Success Manager role would be the perfect opportunity for me to transfer my skills to thrive and grow in the fast-paced SaaS industry.I believe that my unique experiences would help me excel in this role. I recently completed a CSM and SaaS Sales boot camp in the Aspireship program that enhanced my ability to succeed in the industry. During my time at CIEE, a large part of my role was relationship and network building, as well as sales. I met enrollment sales quotas with high-performance reviews. I would maintain clear communication and build relationships among many different departments and clients, such as universities, embassies, students, foreign staff, and other departments within the company. I created informative materials for use by students and universities which had to be 100% accurate due to their legal nature. I also made sales trips to meet with students and university representatives, in the US and abroad, to further build and maintain relationships and contracts, with all interactions logged in Salesforce.Teaching, both in person and online due to the pandemic, has also enhanced my ability to build strong relationships, create and present instructional materials across different platforms, and collaborate with my peers to ensure team success. My experience teaching both in the US and internationally has helped me develop my emotional and cultural intelligence to better meet the needs of my students and clients. It also gave me the opportunity to become fluent in Spanish. I also have strong knowledge of school systems, their key decision-makers, and their needs.In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, writing and playing music, traveling, maintaining my fluency in Spanish, and learning languages and about history.
