ABOUT SOPHIE M.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at University College London. During my PhD, I explored the use explainable artificial intelligence methods for dementia prediction and the generalisability of AI models to out-of-distribution data. Following on from this, my research focuses on the translation of artificial intelligence and neuroimaging analysis for predicting brain health outcomes in real-world settings. I am also passionate about increasing diversity across academia & industry, and enjoy being an active member of several initiatives making positive change in the education sector.
