About Sophie Nguyen

I am a senior at Clemson University majoring in business marketing and minoring in political and legal theory. For the Summer of 2024, I interned at both Atlyss Food Co. and Mind4Youth as a marketing intern. With these roles, I further advanced my knowledge and experience with B2B marketing, sales promotion, market research, influencer marketing, and social media marketing. During the Spring semester of 2024, I studied abroad at the Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Florence, Italy. There, I concentrated on International Marketing in both sports and fashion. This experience has allowed me to not only expand my studies at an international level, but also explore and understand many different cultures and people. During the Summer of 2023, I interned at the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic as a Financial Administration Assistant. With this internship, I developed my skills with Microsoft Excel, data entry, financial reporting, and financial analysis. At Clemson University, I was one of the Co-Chairs of Public Relations and Marketing with the university’s chapter of It’s On Us. With this position, I create and post content on all social media platforms, design merchandise, and communicate with other organizations on campus in collaboration to spread awareness and fundraise for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. I was able to develop my skills in Adobe, Canva, Social Media, and Content Creation as well as explore my creativity. I am also a member of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women in the SC Beta Chapter, the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, and Lyceum Fellows.
