ABOUT SOPHIE FITMAN
I am currently a Freshmen at the University of Kansas, majoring in Human Biology with a pre-med minor. I am currently employed as a certified pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy. I completed a research internship with the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science with the University of KU, representing the school at the Greater Kansas City Science Fair. I have also completed the Elevate Internship at the KU Cancer Center on the Quivira campus. I had the opportunity to shadow at Saint Luke South in radiology and their emergency department in April 2024, providing me with insight into the medical field and unique learning opportunities. I am seeking additional opportunities for high school seniors in the medical field to broaden my knowledge and gain valuable experiences to support my educational pursuits.
