Committed to the steward and fiduciary responsibilities of supporting community-led approaches to regressive policies impeding on the sexual and reproductive rights of vulnerable women, girls, and gender-diverse persons internationally. Tasked with building and strengthening partnerships, coalitions, and movements to advance sustainable development through strategic foresight; financial and operational oversight; resource mobilization and fundraising; monitoring of national, regional, and international policies; and advocacy in multilateral, intergovernmental, and other diplomatic fora.Alongside our 190 committed partner organizations and allies, I provided technical support in the co-design and implementation of an intersectional feminist, anti-colonial, Global South-led alliance model ensuring the annual delivery of 23,3M sexual and reproductive health services through community-based contraceptive access; continuity of care in fragile and conflict-affected states; intergenerational community health promotion; and legal/political advocacy efforts, noting 102 positive outcomes in the past year. As part of Fos Feminista’s broader strategy, I have advised the Accountability & Learning, Partnership, Resource Mobilization, Financial Sustainability, Legal, and Strategic frameworks. Furthermore, I have advised the INNOVA Health Supplies partnership, a social enterprise catalyzing the transformation of local reproductive health supply chains and solutions, to expand access to affordable, reliable, high-quality contraceptives and other products for organizations across 26 countries.

ABOUT SOPHIE A.

Sophie Arseneault is a long-standing advocate for health equity. In support of community- and youth-led approaches to regressive policies impeding on the health and well-being of vulnerable communities, she serves as a Board Director for Fòs Feminista\'s International Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice. In this capacity, Sophie identifies disparities in policy and programming - addressing inequities through the WHO\'s Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (PMNCH)\'s Evidence & Accountability Working Group. Sophie informs, moreover, the operationalization and implementation of UNICEF, UNAIDS, UNFPA, and UNDP\'s Adolescent and Young Key Populations (ayKP) Toolkit to enable the scaling of youth-led approaches to the global HIV/AIDS response in regions at risk of being left behind. She has most recently provided technical assistance to the Department of Gender Affairs of Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines in the implementation of gender- and disability-responsive policies and programming under climate-related emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. Previously serving as Policy and Government Relations Officer for the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children\'s Health (CanWaCH), she has led efforts to safeguard, strengthen, and ensure accountability for Canadian policy, fiscal, and programmatic commitments to WCAH worldwide.
