ABOUT SOPHIE WULFF

I am a PhD-educated specialist in international collaboration and partnerships, with over 10 years’ experience across research, innovation, and commercialisation in university and spin-out settings.Reporting to the CEO, I have played a key role in supporting the growth of Arctech Innovation, a spin-out from The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, helping to shape its strategy, international partnerships, product development and research programmes. My strength lies in connecting organisational and research expertise with partner and industry needs, and turning genuine alignment into practical, shared outcomes.My work centres on designing and delivering national and international partnerships, building long-term relationships, and supporting the translation of research and innovation into real-world impact. I’ve led initiatives from early concept and partner engagement through to negotiation, delivery, and growth, working closely with researchers, industry, funders, startups, and government.I’m motivated by the big things (success, impact, new discoveries) and the small things (day-to-day conversations with people, learning something new, creating a smile).
