Since the summer of 2024 - present I have worked for the City of Kitchener as an Inclusion Support Worker. In this role I 1- to-1 supported children with disabilities and special needs in camps. I was responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, while encouraging participation in programs and supporting their needs.

ABOUT SOPHIE SCHAFER
I am a skilled fourth year student at the University of Guelph studying English. I am additionally pursuing a minor in Sociology. I have experience working with children as an Inclusion Support Worker, Day Camp Coordinator, child and youth program facilitator and much more. I am passionate about pursuing a diverse array of work and volunteer opportunities. Currently, I work at the Bullring Cafe on UofG campus, I volunteer as both club president and organisational team lead with United for Literacy and I am currently the Co-President of the SOAN Society (Sociology- Anthropology). I am dedicated to being an active and involved member across campus. Post grad I plan to pursue a career in teaching.
