Examples: Emergency Preparedness Fair & Emergency Operations Center Open House •Collaborate with external partners, including the Georgia Emergency Management Agency and National Weather Service, to ensure consistent and accurate public messaging during disaster events.•Develop public safety information on the MBCAlert app- Macon-Bibb’s official safety app- using the AppArmor database for events such as the Cherry Blossom Festival and Veterans Day Parade.•Lead a 6-month, multi-agency effort to update the Macon-Bibb County Local Emergency Operations Plan and 18 Emergency Support Function Annexes, coordinating input from 80+ partner organizations.•Streamline LEOP and annex formatting, integrate after-action insights, and facilitate stakeholder meetings to align capabilities and clarify roles, strengthening interagency coordination and whole-community planning.•Manage end-to-end logistics for deploying 70+ personnel and stakeholders to Emmitsburg, MD for FEMA’s Integrated Emergency Management Course, a four-day, exercise-based training activity to practice simulated, but realistic, crisis situations.•Facilitate pre-course training for IEMC, serve as a local subject-matter-expert for exercise development, and foster interagency collaboration to ensure unified and productive learning experience.•Lead the development of social media content calendars using Canva and Meta Business Suite, focusing on family preparedness and community disaster response for national campaigns like National Preparedness Month and Fall Severe Weather Preparedness Week.•Initiate monthly team bonding events to foster collaboration and strengthen relationships among team members, improving overall morale and teamwork.•Develop and implement public outreach campaigns focused on disaster preparedness and resilience, including tailored content for diverse and underrepresented communities.
