About Sophie S. Parker
My career commitment is to use innovation, creativity, and passion to fight climate change. Currently, I work in Business Development for Uplight, working with partners to grow our capabilities for customers to benefit from technology to offset peak demand and manage the grid. As a previous sales representative at Nexamp, I worked on increasing access and methods to support solar energy, specifically among low income communities, by subscribing customers to various solar projects. Directly after obtaining a Bachelor\'s degree in Sociology from Elon University, I served in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua, as an environmental educator where my passion for service and the environment grew.
