At the Nanoscale Biomedical Imaging Facility (NBIF), I am implementing GAUSS-EM (Guided Accumulation of Ultrathin Serial Sections using a Static Magnetic Field) to enable large-volume electron microscopy. This approach allows us to section and image extensive volumes of C. elegans tissue efficiently and at nanoscale resolution, supporting detailed structural and connectomic studies.
