The North American Language and Culture Assisstants Program(NALCAP) is a public diplomacy program that allows participants to serve as cultural ambassadors. As a language assistant, I am advancing English language learning and mutual understanding through cultural exchange while working in a primary school. My role involves assissting the English teacher I\'m paired with, contributing to lesson planning, creating activities, explaining new concepts, and encouraging the students to broaden their knowledge of a diverse language and culture. NALCAP provides an incredible opportunity to immerse in the language and culture of Spain while sharing the language and culture of the United States with Spanish students.
