In my role as an Immigration Lawyer, I provide legal advice to migrant domestic workers in the UK, many of whom have been subjected to domestic servitude in the UK and abroad. In my Policy Officer role, I advocate for their rights and work to change the laws and policies around the Overseas Domestic Worker visa regime and the National Referral Mechanism which identifies and protects survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery.In my M&E Manager role, I monitor, assess and manage the capacity and resources of Kalayaan\'s legal casework. This includes managing our volunteers, and creating reports on our casework outputs.
