Sophie leads a team of environment and sustainability professionals across four parent companies developing opportunities for all to grow and ensuring recognition of the individual achievements with Ambition Makers and WOW award winners. Sophie has improved all performance areas against the HS2 Environmental Key Performance Indicators since taking the role, she has maintained the projects ISO14001 and PAS2080 accreditation in 2022 and leads the ongoing implementation of the management system. Sophie leads the environmental interfaces with valued stakeholders in local government, the Environment Agency and Thames water. She leads the interface between construction and design teams with respect to impacts of the design on the Environmental Minimum Requirements including the legal interface and problem resolution with no non compliances recorded to date.
