ABOUT SOPHIE HART
I am currently serving as the Special Assistant to Chairwoman Suzan DelBene where I support her both in her official capacity on Capitol Hill and on the political side, at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee working to help Democrats take back the House in 2026. In this role, I travel with the Chairwoman and provide strategic and operational support across her legislative and political efforts, collaborating with teams to drive key initiatives and ensure success. Previously, I was the Associate Director of Scheduling for Vice President Kamala Harris\' at the White House, where I helped manage her daily and long-term schedule, coordinated across teams, and traveled to provide on-the-ground support for a 20+ person traveling staff and facilitate all movements for 300+ events in 107 days during the final months of 2024. I also supervised the intern program, mentoring two interns each semester. Earlier in my career, I organized and mobilized college students in New York State and contributed to several Congressional campaigns. I hold a degree in Political Science, Economics, and Philosophy from Colgate University where I completed a thesis which received the highest honors in Political Science researching the contemporary voting wars and the Republican attack on the legitimacy of democratic institutions in the United States. I am passionate about public service and love connecting with others working to create meaningful change.
