ABOUT SOPHIE GILROY
As a Scheduling Administrator at Estio Training since December 2022, I am responsible for coordinating the delivery of apprenticeships to learners and employers across the UK. I communicate effectively with various stakeholders, manage schedules and bookings, and ensure compliance with the ESFA rules and regulations. I have a strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and a passion for education and training. Before joining Estio Training, I worked as an IT Programme Delivery Coordinator and an Apprenticeship Coordinator at Baltic Apprenticeships for over a year, where I supported learners and employers throughout their apprenticeship journey, from enrolment to EPA. I also helped to prevent leavers and increase retention rates by providing guidance and feedback. I have a Pre-Nursing Studies qualification from Hartlepool College of Further Education, which reflects my interest in health and wellbeing. In 2012, I was a runner-up for the Pride of Hartlepool Award for administering CPR to a girl who collapsed in a bus stop. I am proud of my ability to act quickly and calmly in emergency situations and to make a positive difference in people\'s lives.
