As a Finance Intern under the guidance of Michelle Essex Stith and Thad Solomon, I support the finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. My responsibilities include-Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis-Supporting the development of departmental budgets and financial models-Conducting research and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes-Gaining hands-on experience with tools like Excel.This internship is strengthening my analytical skills and deepening my understanding of corporate finance, while giving me exposure to real-world financial operations in a dynamic business environment.
