Currently work for GRASAC as a qualified ISVA. Passionate about advocating for survivors. Passionate about creating systematic changes. Committed to further professional development. I hold a MA degree in Domestic and Sexual Violence. I also hold a BSc (hons) degree in Criminology. Previously worked within local authority as a Countywide Domestic Abuse Housing Interventions Officer across Gloucestershire. My role included-Advocated for clients experiencing homelessness as a result of DA -Championing best practice across housing options teams to ensure responses are trauma informed- Advocated for safe accommodation options are considers for all survivors in line with The DA Act 2021- Ensured I regularly completed DASH risk assessment to identify risk at the earliest opportunity and supported colleagues to confidentially complete DASH within their assessments-Working closely with various agencies to ensure all survivors can access the support they needed- Solution focused to ensure all housing pathways were considered for survivor’s including liaison with various other teams within housing to maintain tenancies and remain with the home.
