About Sophie Buck
Hi! I’m Sophie and I’m passionate about helping others thrive. I am a multi-style violinist and fiddler with experience in a variety of styles including Celtic, old-oime, classical, bluegrass, country, and church music. During my senior year of high school, I released my first album on Spotify, entitled The Butterfly. I perform regularly at weddings, contra dances, farmers markets, and as a violist with the Middle Tennessee State University Symphony Orchestra. I have also served on my church\'s worship team for over ten years. I have teaching experience at The Huntsville Strings Shop and Elite Dance, Music, and Art. My teachers include Jim Wood, five-time state fiddle champion; Inge Wood, decorated rhythm guitarist; Dr. Andrea Dawson, world-renowned violinist; and Stephan Dudash, leading five-string violist.
