As operations manager (based in our Sanremo headquarters) my role encompasses: • Overseeing the international recruitment process: assessing and evaluating thousands of applications, responding to queries from prospective applicants, interviewing shortlisted candidates and finalising selection of candidates• Allocating tutors, with the support of the orientation team, to over 200 ESL summer camps around Italy• Serving as main contact person for conflict management for tutors, camp directors and coordinators on a national level (specifically concerning transfers and allocation decisions, but also to provide emotional support and respond to didactic queries where I am able to).• Assisting admin with study grant payments• Liaising with EDUCO collaborators in Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Triveneto, Campania, Puglia & Sicily. In particular, working closely with the didactic team to organize summer orientation courses • Liaising with universities & websites to arrange advertising• Organizing and hosting university career fairs, information sessions and workshops in the UK, USA & Canada to promote EDUCO projects and recruit tutors• Collaborating with senior management to provide suggestions on the content of recruitment publications and communications to ensure they are reflective of prospective applicant information needs• Assessing tutor performance following training and camp experience• Assisting in the planning of various events, including UK based projects, teacher training courses and trips abroad• Assisting in the development & implementation of social media strategy (via the EDUCO website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)• Training new recruitment staff
