ABOUT SOPHIA MURPHY

I am a recent graduate of Miami University with a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Fashion Design. Studying both fields, especially fashion, fueled my passion for creative expression and deepened my appreciation for art and design. Through Sage Corps, I had the opportunity to intern with 4Gift in Milan the summer of my senior year, where I gained firsthand experience in the business side of the fashion industry. In my final semester, I designed a unique, meaningful collection showcased in Miami University\'s annual fashion show hosted by MUF & D, dedicating over 50 hours to bringing my vision to life.During my time on campus, I was actively involved in several organizations that allowed me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I joined Alpha Phi Fraternity as a freshman and later served as the Panhellenic Delegate and a Rho Gamma, giving back to a community that shaped much of my college experience. I also co-led The Up & Up Festival at Miami, managing a team of 20+ students to bring rising EDM artists to campus. By leading social-first marketing strategies and coordinating sponsorship efforts with Monster Energy, we sold out three consecutive shows with over 900 tickets each.Additionally, I was recruited as Miami\'s Campus Manager for Breakaway Festival, where I collaborated with other Ohio-based managers to drive awareness and ticket sales. I sold over in tickets during the 2024 season and this past 2025 season.Now that I’ve graduated, I’m excited to take the next step in my professional journey. I’m passionate about the intersection of fashion, marketing, and music promotion, and am currently seeking a full-time role in one of those industries. I hope to one day design for my brand while making meaningful contributions to the creative industries I love.
