Over the past 10 years, I have gained experience across community, hospital, ambulatory, and managed care pharmacy settings, and I now bring this diverse background—along with passion and tenacity—to my role as PGY-1 Managed Care Pharmacy Resident at Blue Cross NC. Along the way, I’ve contributed to value-based care initiatives, guided patients through complex medication regimens during care transitions, and promoted patient safety and adherence through personalized counseling and medication therapy management in community pharmacies.While studying at Campbell University, I served as the President of the Doctor of Pharmacy Student Ambassadors program and Secretary of Phi Lambda Sigma\'s Alpha Zeta chapter, actively promoting mentorship, service, and professional growth. I’ve also presented on evidence-based pharmacotherapy, contributed to research, and been recognized for my commitment to character and advancing pharmacy education.I’m passionate about bridging managed care principles, clinical pharmacy, and public health to create innovative strategies that expand access, optimize outcomes, and improve healthcare at both the patient and population level.
