I am an experienced Director with 30 years of governance experience serving public and private companies, government funded and NPO’s. I add value to boards with my deep executive, accounting, financial, transaction, enterprise risk management, executive compensation, governance, succession planning, strategy and talent management experience. I presently serve on the boards of Keenova (formerly Mallinckrodt following its merger with Endo Inc and the spin of our combined generics business), Pason Systems Inc.(TSX:PSI) and Alaris Equity Partners Income Trust (TSX:ADUN) I am the audit committee (AC) chair at Keenova and Alaris and a member of AC at Pason, the chair of nominations and governance committee at Pason and a member of that committee at Keenova. I was the chair the human capital and compensation committee at Endo and am a member of that committee at Alaris. I previously served on the board of Essential Energy Services (TSX:ESN) where I chaired the AC and was a member of the Governance & Compensation Committee from 20••••23 when it was sold to a private company. I am presently the Chair of the Board at Telus Spark science centre. Until my departure from KPMG in 2020, I was an audit partner, corporate services executive leader for the Calgary office and national audit people strategy leader for Canada. I am known for my adaptability, breadth of industry experience, practical approach, working through complexity, having a strategic mindset and building relationships. I previously served as the Vice-Chair of the Board, the AC chair, pension and investment committee chair and was a member of the executive committee at SAIT. In the past I have been on the board of Operation Eyesight Universal, Kids up Front Foundation and the Calgary Counseling centre. As an Audit Partner, I was responsible for:• Leading audit, review and securities engagements for a portfolio of public, private and not-for-profit clients in sectors which include Energy, Airlines, Agriculture, Investments, Transportation, Pharmaceuticals, Payment processing, Pipelines, Technology and financial services.As the national audit partner in charge of people and a member of the national audit leadership team, I carried the strategic mandate to transform the people experience impacting over 2500 people. As the corporate services leader and a member of the Calgary leadership team, I was responsible for a team of 80 cross functional professionals supporting the HR, IT, Client administration, Marketing and Finance needs of the 750 Calgary based employees.
