Co-founded CHE Innovations with 3 other shareholders after designing the NeoNest, a low-cost transport infant warmer for ambulances, through the 8-week DukeEngage Biomedical Design program in Kampala, Uganda with Makerere University- Secured in funding and received a utility patent; established CHE Innovations as a registered private limited company under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) to enable product scaling - Delivered 20 CHE Nests, a Class I medical device portion of the patented NeoNest, to Kawempe National Referral Hospital- Uganda\'s largest referral center for preterm infants- and have opened ordering to other hospitals - Conducting feasibility study funded by Royal Academy of Engineering grant to evaluate NeoNest’s feasibility, identify adoption barriers, and propose scaling strategies for large-scale manufacturing
