I am an interdisciplinary researcher and storyteller passionate about creating community-centered solutions to environmental and social challenges. With a background in Ecosystem Science and Policy, Geography, Sustainable Development, and Studio Art, I approach sustainability through both scientific and creative lenses.My experiences range from conducting geospatial research on climate adaptation and urban heat to facilitating art education programs in museums, to leading environmental education tours, to supporting environmental storytelling through digital media. As the GIS Intern at Everglades National Park, I am creating a multi-decadal map of the park\'s shoreline using archival data and satellite imagery to calculate rate of change and convey change overtime. Additionally, I am working to organize existing datasets and update metadata to ensure spatial data integrity. The final multi-decadal shoreline change map will be used to create a public facing web-application for public outreach.
