ABOUT SOPHIA MOSS

I am a freelance writer and editor who gets a kick out of telling a good story. I mostly focus on the theatre (I\'ve reviewed over 100 shows for The Upcoming since 2017), travel (I love talking about ghost towns, regenerative tourism, slow travel, and tips and hacks for solo female travellers), health (I spent six and a half years working for a health-focused editorial marketing agency, where I specalised in female health and chronic pain), and finance (I\'ve spent the last two years writing mortgage and personal finance guides). I am endlessly curious about the world and love learning about new topics, so I\'m always open to opportunities outside of these fields. With a master\'s degree in Magazine Journalism from City, University of London, a certificate in counselling skills from Highgate Counselling Centre, and four years of experience volunteering with multiple mental health-related charities, I am able to harness my active listening skills to interview a huge range of people about any topic. In 2025, I worked as a support worker with an autism and learning disabilities organisation. I\'m looking for part-time freelance editing, writing, and/or brand strategy and marketing opportunities.
