I advise the Minister of Research and Higher Education on governance and policy for higher education and research institutions, translating knowledge and leveraging data and statistics to strengthen evidence-based decision-making, effective governance, and the quality, equity, and efficiency of higher education.• Lead and coordinate governance dialogue with key institutions, including the Norwegian Institute for International Affairs (NUPI), the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research (Sikt), private higher education providers, and the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills.• Manage and implement reform processes and projects, ensuring that policy initiatives are grounded in robust evidence and stakeholder dialogue.• Expand and strengthen the ministry\'s knowledge base through advanced use of statistics, analysis, and evidence synthesis, including the Status Report on Higher Education and the Challenges Analysis for the Higher Education Sector.• Improve strategic management tools by revising allocation letters, annual reporting requirements, and frameworks for institutional governance.• Oversee board appointments for universities, colleges, and research institutions. • Represent the ministry in cross-sector projects and meetings with institutions and stakeholders.• Serve as Union Training Coordinator and Department Representative, Norwegian Civil Service Union.
