My name is Sophia Hosford and I’m a proud DC native and senior government major and history minor at William & Mary. I have experience on Capitol Hill, at WMATA, on two U.S. Senate campaigns, on the 2024 VA Coordinated Campaign, with two lobbying firms, and in advocacy work (health, voter access.) Campus Involvements- President, Richmond Road Community Council (representing 900 students)- College Curriculum Review Committee - Undergraduate Student Researcher - Club Soccer - President, Virginia21 - Undersecretary for Academic Affairs - WCWM DJ - Aide to University President -Arts & Sciences Advisory CouncilI’m particularly interested in health, agriculture, consumer protection, and transportation policy. I have a strong foundation in both international and domestic politics and have most enjoyed coursework in US-China Relations, U.S. Social Policy, Latin American Politics, Populism, Authoritarian Legacies, and International Security.Upon my graduation in May 2026, I am looking for entry-level policy/research analyst positions.
