ABOUT SOPHIA DERRY
I am currently a second year and a major in economics. I enjoy learning about finances and market strategy. Throughout the last two years of high school, I worked part-time as a hostess, and have worked as a SPARKS Peer Mentor. This summer I also completed a marketing internship, and am currently a director of fundraising for McGill Women in Leadership. I have a strong work ethic and learned to manage my time and multiple responsibilities simultaneously. This experience not only honed my problem solving and organizational skills but also instilled in me the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of contributing positively to a team. My strengths include analytical skills to make decisions and solve problems and working collaboratively. I am also committed to new learning opportunities and challenges to expand my knowledge and skills.
