   Assist a group of Superintendents in shore-based verification of allapplicable certification and Class documentation of vessels.Incharge of appointing Husbandry Agents for entire fleet.• Conduct a check for receipt and filing of all periodic and occasional reportsfrom the vessel.• Ensuring that records of technical maintenance and operations aremaintained up to date within Company’s ERP• Assist a group of Superintendents in maintaining and monitoring recordsof surveys, inspections, and certification of the vessel, so that they areconducted in a planned and timely manner.• Maintain Class status to respective vessels each month.• Maintain up to date the status of all vessel’s certificates.• Maintain off-hire and other performance statistics of the vessels under thedirection of the Superintendents.• Implement, monitor, and report on environmental issues related to thedepartment,• Liaise with the Superintendents in planning/executing daily work.• Monitor received stock lists from warehouses, as applicable.• In co-operation with the General Manager / Technical Manager / PurchaseManager negotiate prices, terms, and rebates with freight forwarders.• As necessary; initiate ordering of spare parts, stores etc. subject toTechnical Managers and / or Superintendent’s approval and arrangeforwarding to the vessels including insurance as required.• Arrange delivery of urgent orders to the vessels, according to purchasing /spare part procedure.• Update delivery dates, in the purchasing system, including confirmationnumbers from order confirmation to reflect actually promised deliverydates from suppliers.• Check validity of order estimates on a regular basis together withSuperintendents.• Update the purchasing system for outstanding orders twice a year in co-ordination with the Shipboard Management.Taking up special projects and assignments as per management needsCompany will appoint their representative to liaise with the Contractor.
