My experience comes predominantly from establishing and growing an award winning accountancy college in the UK which I sold after 15 years\' Directorship. It held a reputation for delivering excellence and helping students achieve great success in examinations but most importantly in their careers.Throughout my career I have been complimented by fellow professionals on my strong business acumen. I would suggest I am an intuitive coach and mentor rather than a conventional one. During my career I adopted a hands on approach and this enabled me to obtain experience in key business functions such as- Leadership, coaching and mentoring - Systems and procedures development and management- Financial and management accounting- Sales forecasting and management- Website design and development- Writing engaging marketing content- Quality assurance- Development and delivery of professional training courses- Creator of traditional (printed) and modern (e-learning and webinars) learning materialsDuring my career the following awards were achieved:2014 – Eagle Education was the first distance learning provider to be awarded the Association of Accounting Technician’s (AAT) Distance Learning Provider of the year Award in recognition for delivering excellence. 2009 – I was awarded the Accounting Technician of the Year Award at the prestigious Accountancy Age Magazine Awards, in recognition for squarely fitting the criteria of demonstrating professionalism, imagination and innovation that has led to organisational success and has made a real difference to the organisation and its clients.I operate ethically. I am passionate about contributing to world-wide development and have a passion for sustainable development.
