I am responsible for performing Quality Control (QC) on electrical design work prepared by modelers, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and overall design integrity. I provide technical guidance and engineering solutions for complex and challenging project requirements.My role includes designing key electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. I also perform essential engineering calculations, including load calculations and load summaries, lighting calculations, short-circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations.In addition to design and QC tasks, I prepare and review technical submittals, respond to RFIs, and develop shop drawings. I am also responsible for preparing and reviewing the electrical specification book for various projects.I coordinate with other disciplines such as mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams to resolve any design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of all building services. I perform clash detection and address coordination issues to maintain a clash-free and constructible design.Overall, my primary responsibility is to review, validate, coordinate, and ensure the quality and constructability of all electrical design deliverables.
