Sonny also works with leading stadia and arenas as part of OVG\'s unrivalled Alliance network to deliver value through brand partnerships, commercial opportunities and content.Sonny was previously a Senior Associate in Travers Smith\'s Commercial, IP and Technology Department and is referenced as a \"Rising Star\" in tier 1 of The Legal 500 Commercial Contracts section 2019.Sonny had a broad-based commercial practice, advising on complex commercial arrangements, strategic partnership arrangements, outsourcing, joint ventures, licensing and franchising, across a number of sectors, with a particular emphasis on financial services, infrastructure/renewables, leisure and media.Sonny also specialised in advising on complex business separations and associated transitional and migration arrangements in the context of share sales, asset sales and group reorganisations.He worked closely with client leads to ensure that business divisions are able to obtain the support they required to continue to operate following a transaction, as well as being able to conduct sufficient migration of business critical assets, data and IT infrastructure to be able to stand alone or migrate into a new operating environment.He has spent time on secondment to the in-house legal team of a large media company, to a law firm in Mumbai, India working on international brand franchising partnerships in the retail sector, and a 12 month posting to Travers Smith\'s Paris office concentrating on corporate transactions, complex business separations and associated commercial arrangements.
