Sonja is the co-founder of Maturn, an organization dedicated to supporting women through key life stages - from fertility and maternity leave to leadership and menopause. With two decades of experience across non-profit, public, and private sectors, she brings deep expertise in equity, systems change, and inclusive leadership. She is a certified leadership coach and DEI/AREI consultant, former Vice-Chair of the YWCA Canada Board, and was appointed by the Province of BC to the West Vancouver Police Board. Sonja is a proud mother of two and a passionate advocate for gender equity.
