As a Human Resource Business Partner, I’m responsible for the corporate business lines. I collaborate with business line leaders/partners with respect to people management including retention, performance/talent management and I am the primary contact for employees and managers to answer questions related to bank policies, employee benefits or compensation. In addition, I recruit for Independent Bank and take great pleasure in finding talent that can enhance the Bank and strive to build a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates through cold and warm calling/passive recruiting.Other key accomplishments: • FML/Leave of Absence Administration• Streamlined the FML process with templates and checklists• Workman’s Compensation Administration• Able to solve conflict through employee and management coaching/counseling
