ABOUT SONIA ANITA SIDDIQUI

I’m a systems-focused Health Services Researcher and PhD Candidate at Dalhousie University, specializing in how organizational conditions shape workforce well-being and the quality and safety of care. My doctoral work develops evidence-based indicators that integrate physician well-being into patient-safety frameworks in emergency departments, using mixed methods and sustained collaboration with health-system partners. Alongside my academic research, I bring extensive experience leading multi-phase projects, coordinating diverse stakeholder groups, and translating evidence into actionable strategies. My work spans digital health innovation, user-centered design, and quality improvement, with peer-reviewed publications in Nature Scientific Reports and BMJ Open. I integrate perspectives from health administration, psychology, and computational and qualitative methods to produce data-driven, human-centered solutions.As a Community Project Lead with the Canadian Center for Vaccinology (CCfV), I support community-engaged research to improve childhood immunization coverage, advancing equity and system responsiveness. I am committed to building partnerships that enhance healthcare accessibility, strengthen organizational performance, and support sustainable workforce and community well-being.
