ABOUT SONIA SCARCIA
I strongly believe that emotions are the engine that makes everything move within people and companies, and this is so much my passion that I’ve spent my entire personal and professional life so far, feeling, stimulating and releasing emotions to achieve challenging objectives and goals. In the last two years I’ve finally made it my job as People Business partner in the HR department, helping colleagues to bloom in their own passions and capabilities. I have been at Enel for around 20 years, spending most of my career in the ICT sector, leading several teams in the digital transformation of the Company at global level, along different businesses such as Generation, Energy Management and Procurement. I had the opportunity, right in the Procurement function, to start-up the Supplier Development Program, a concrete tool to stimulate the Enel’s supplier growth to support Enel in the energy transitions challenges. During the Enel’s internationalization path, I also worked in Moscow for 2 years, following the integration project of the local energy company within the Group.
