ABOUT SONIA KERMANI

I’m a learning experience designer with 10+ years in education—working across curriculum development, instructional design, and educational leadership. From designing learner-centered programs and digital courses to managing diverse educational projects, I bring both vision and practicality to every learning environment I help build. My background includes teaching across all age groups, developing outcomes-based curricula, coordinating programs nationally, and leading educational teams. I hold a graduate degree in Education (Curriculum, Teaching & Learning) from the University of Manitoba, where I grounded my passion in evidence-based practice. What truly drives me is the power of education to shape the future—not just by what we teach, but how we design the learning journey. I love being behind the scenes: mapping curriculum, aligning objectives, collaborating with subject matter experts, and creating meaningful, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences. I\'m especially drawn to roles where I can: Design and implement curricula aligned with learner needs and institutional goals Apply instructional design models (like ADDIE, UDL, Backward Design) Work cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders Translate ideas into practical learning materials and experiences I believe education is future work—and I’m here for it.
