I have been working as a manager for over 15 years and as a State IT Manager, for over six years. I have worked on very large project, as the system implementer for DHCS CA-MMIS, and as the Chief of Infrastructure for the FI$Cal Project. I had full management responsibility for a large EDP organization requiring subordinate managers, as I managed/oversaw a significant portion of the organization which was highly complex. I managed interdepartmental project where the work was of the most critical and of sensitive nature. I manage an environment that supported many external resources and agencies, while keeping it secure and available. I have knowledge of statewide IT standards, protocols and procedures; including governmental feasibility processes, procurement, budget and project approval processes. As the IT infrastructure Operations and Services Chief at CDFA, I lead all activities and tasks associated with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the CDFA\'s complex network, enterprise Web services, database infrastructure, and telecommunications services. I am currently the Enterprise Reporting & Data Governance Manager at CDRC leading managing the reporting and analytics functions for CDCR.
