Global Cities, a program of Bloomberg Philanthropies, has connected more than students ages 10-13 worldwide through Global Scholars, a pioneering virtual exchange program. Our research with the Harvard Graduate School of Education has helped define global competency for young students. I oversee communications strategy and have fun with tactics, serving as speechwriter, social media manager, video producer, research translator, media relations manager, and overall communications guru, helping founder Marjorie Bloomberg Tiven promote the critical importance of early global education to education leaders worldwide.
