At SEARCH Homeless Services, we are working to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring. Experienced in working with some of Houston’s most challenged men, women, and children, our programs and services are designed to meet the complex needs of our city’s ever-changing homeless population to effectively engage people from the street, support their successful navigation into stable housing, and build their self-sufficiency through increased income, improved mental and physical health, housing stability, and connection to community once housed. Today, SEARCH is a leader and key player in The Way Home, an ambitious community-wide effort to end homelessness in Houston. Through this unprecedented collaboration of homeless service providers, public agencies, and philanthropic leaders, Houston has reduced homelessness by more than half over the past eight years, housed more than individuals, and become a model for the rest of the nation in how to address this challenging societal issue.SEARCH\'s House of Tiny Treasures is a nationally accredited preschool program that provides a developmentally focused early childhood education to children, 2 – 5 years of age, whose families are or have been homeless.
